below was d conversation between my uncle and aunt on sunday:

uncle: dh ckp kt adik bout d assignment?
aunt: assignment? die dh x study, wat assignment are u talking about?
uncle: bukan dat assignment, its for xxxx's engagement..

wat's d assignment? gubahan hantaran. frankly speaking, im not even sure if im really good at it because im actually more of a critic. i've arranged and decorated 7trays for my cousin Aman early tis year, my aunts like it. in my family, i have an aunt and a male cousin who's an expert in all intricate wedding details such as d hantaran. im good too, at helping :)

so, the theme for my assignment is d color lavender, which is one of my fav color. i guess working with a color i like have its advantages. im having mixed feelings bout tis - im excited at d same time very nervous in case d result is not as i imagined it to be. yesterday eve, i managed to borrow a fren's wedding mag because im looking for ideas n inspiration before i start shopping tis weekend. the list of items i should get tis weekend are:

1. satin for d lapik dulang
2. lace/beaded organza for d top layer of lapik dulang
3. flower for d bunga dulang (prolly gona assemble it myself)
4. container for bunga rampai

i have 3 weeks from now to generate ideas and get started with d hantaran. of course 3 weeks sounds like a lot of time but i doubt i'l get it done much earlier than d due date - sometimes i work better under pressure (hehehe...ye ke?).

perhaps if tis is wat is gonna work for me, i might consider doing a hantaran business. we'll see :)
