as mentioned in prev post, yesterday was nas' birthday. i have no plans whatsoever to surprise her until her bf, kai called asking if we'd (myself & faiz) like to join them for dinner at bora ombak, near tiara ampang. since i didnt have any specific plans after work besides going to d gym, i decided why not plus its only nearby. since our company is supposed to be a surprise, when nas invited us to come along we had to lie saying i have a session with my personal trainer and faiz have to accompany me(hehehe, its only a white lie).

right after work, we planned to get her d birthday cake before heading to d restaurant and on d way to our cars, it didnt rain too heavily but d wind...d wind was from all around us so d result was two damp stinking girls. lucky us, we have our spare gym clothes in our car so we changed into sports attire.

after we got her cake at ampang point, we started looking for bora ombak which isnt too far fr der. according to nadiah (an office colleague), it's located next to sports planet. and guess who's dressed for d occasion??? hehehe...faiz! not only she was wearing sports attire, she got her futsal shoes on too - ready for a game of futsal (mmg dia reti main pun, kn faiz??). frankly speaking, we were under dressed for d occasion, and d place too. nvm dat, wen we got der, only a couple of indians/banglas were present.

because we got der first, we get to lit d candles before nas & kai arrived. by d time they arrived, the candles were already melting on d cake but we sang her a birthday song anyway. on a personal note, i like the ambience - very cosy and relaxing, which is suitable for special occasions.

anyway nas, i hope u enjoyed your dinner with us, because it was actually a pleasure to spend your birthday together :)
