Wednesday, 735 am, as I was getting ready to go to work, my father broke d news dat my grandmother had passed away a few minutes earlier. That night at 1 am, I was still with her, feeling hopeful dat she was gona get better as always, being a very strong determined lady dat she was. But her time has come, as it was written. It came to me almost like a dream.

My grandmother - was a loyal dedicated wife, a strong mother of 8, a loving grandmother to her many grandchildren, a responsible eldest sister to all her siblings, was greatly loved by all who knew her. God tested her in so many ways, so many times - with d loss of her husband at a young age, and d loss of her two dearest children which no mother would want to go thru. She was d pillar of strength for many, always so strong for all who needed her.

She was the closest thing I had to my mother, d person who has shared d same amount of grief as I have although she seemed composed and tough for d sake of my family. Whenever I miss my mother, I knew it was only my grandmother who would understand it because we shared d same great loss. My source of comfort, is now in a better place, insyaAllah.

Her departure is a loss for d family, but at d same time we were half prepared for it as old age has slown her down and d world wansnt gonna provide anymore comfort for her. Any how, d memories will live on and our prayers will always be with u.
