since i have about 40 mins before heading home today, tot id share a couple of pix and some stories bout last week's raya gathering. d day before d open house, hanan, fariza n i decided to car pool and so i picked em up at setiawangsa lrt station on friday eve. lucky for hanan umno was holding its agm near his place so he didnt feel so awkward wearing his baju melayu since he had to take d train.

on our way to wasi's, it was already dark and cloudy but luckily we got der in time before it started to pour. huish, with d thunder and wat not, d transparent canopy didnt help at all although it was really extravagant. to make things worst dat day, d caterer arrived after more than a handful of guests got der, which was a lil embarrassing because d invitation says from 5pm onwards but d caterer came 45mins later. i could go on bout the caterer's lousy service but then again, not my problem.

my most awaited dish for d nite was d grilled lamb but it was so disappointing but i managed to have a good time with colleagues and friend (faiz je pun my fren) and we all ended up staying up til 10pm, as promised, although tables were still full at dat time. all in all, d gathering was ok but d catering was disastrous. someone said "i nak buat open house this year lagi grand than last year" and im not sure if her prayer was answered.
