last weekend on d 15th, my cousin from dad's side (ariezman) held his wedding reception at tabung haji in kl. d last time i went there to attend a wedding was 15years ago; i was one of d bride's maid then (at amijoe's & aunty fera's wedding). anyway, i guess when we were little things seem to be a lot bigger compared to now (or am i d only one who thinks so?) because i remember d main hall to be bigger than it is now. despite all that, i think it's a nice hall, or to be exact a ball room (i especially like the ceiling). back to d wedding reception, i was expecting loads of family and relatives from all over d world but there weren't dat many - wats important is all dat matters were present.

dat evening, my family was among the first to arrive because we helped d groom's family pick up some stuff otw to d reception (1830 dh smpai ok!). to kill time, me n sis helped arrange door gifts in some baskets Alfian (groom's bro) had decorated. while i was at it, my make up melted a lil (im like the sweat factory) due to the spot light the cameraman had set up near d registration table. after Maghrib, guests started pouring in but my cousins stil haven't arrived so me n sis had to give out door gifts to d guests. among others dat i recognize was suhaimi sulaiman and dang suria (she tot me n sis are twins?!) whom i tot was master of d ceremony but they were there as guests. not dat i want to complain (but i still will), my outfit definitely clashes with the wedding theme. not dat i mind so much (although i mind a lil), i had to carry pink basket around wearing my green outfit while giving out door gifts and later bunga telur.

all in all, the reception was fine. funny thing is i didnt capture any pix of d newly weds on my camera. nevermind that, there's another wedding coming up next month, i hope it will be merrier because normally kenduri belah perempuan lagi meriah compared to guy's side. i'm already thinking bout wat to wear next month :)
