prior to my previous email bout my assignment, tis is about work in progress. about a week ago, i accepted the hantaran assignment from my uncle n aunt and since then, i had my head cracking ideas because im just too excited. it has been a while since i last had my hands on wedding related projects.

last weekend, i went on a shopping spree. i was up as early as 830 and my cousin arrived at 9 to pick me and sis up. by d time we got to d shops, only a few had opened because it was barely 10. speaking of enthusiasm.

the first thing we got was d lapik dulang. since we dont have enough time to tailor it, we made sure we got sumtin really nice. i kno a shop down town that sells items with intricate bead works so we went der, found jus d thing we want. its 40% beaded, definitely a beauty.

next we went looking for a tepak sirih. basically we know d type we need so when we arrived at d shop, we just needed to check out d price but it turns out dat all is too expensive. a tepak sirih for rm550?? we're not sirih eating people so since we dont think its worth d money, the chinese lady working at d shop told us to visit her sister's shop at maju junction where tepak sirih is a lot cheaper. this particular task has been carried forward to next weekend :)

right after we went down to a shop that sells all hantaran related items from ribbons and baskets to flowers and pearls. i couldn't find any nice ready made bunga dulang so i had no choice but to assemble d flower myself. since the theme color is lavender aka light purple, i had to choose d flower really carefully, if tuan empunya hantaran x ske cmne kn? after circling d aisle many times, i found d essentials to make a bunga dulang.

while queuing at d cashier counter, i saw a really nice silver container with glass lid and a crystal knob, which would be perfect for putting chocolates for d hantaran. of course it's expensive but it was on sale! and so i grabbed one of it and put it in our shopping basket.

when i got home dat day, i cant help but start working on d assignment. in fact, its already 40% done. i just cant wait to see d final product :)
