sometimes i use my throat and tummy to think, not dat i dont realize d weight issue and not to mention d kemarau yang melanda my bank account but sometimes i still need d food comfort. if i crave for a particular food, i'll try to get my hands on em but most of d time, not immediately.
today at lunch, my colleague told me she's craving for sumtin hot and spicy, "pape je lar yang pedas" she said. but me, on d other hand was having sweet tooth - i wanted ice cream but not just any ice cream, and with scrumptious topping, which isnt available every where, but i know just where i should go. what triggered d craving was d place i was headed to, which is like 500m from d ice cream shop (which is actually situated in a mall) so i schemed a plan for myself since nobody wanted to be my accomplice.
right after i had d job done, i headed straight to d ice cream shop (or stall, or cart, or watever u wanna call it) and pointed my finger to my choice of ice cream eagerly, making me feel like a 4 year old who could eat just dessert for d rest of her life. "one scoop of nochies with cookie crumbs please" i ordered and then d cashier/cum attendant started babbling bout d price hike or sumtin but i wasnt paying attention because i just needed to get my hands on those scoop of sinfully delicious sweet treat i crave for.
just how i imagined it to be!
it was indeed very satisfying, fulfilling, gratifying (a bit dramatic, i know!) but most of all it was worth d rush. and oh, d reason i had to go to a specific place to get tis exact craving is because, not all lecka lecka offers cookie crumbs for their topping, but only those that sells famous amos cookies have it.
