i've been a loyal user of my canon camera which is approximately 7yo now, among other excuse to justify why i need a replacement. it has served me well, in fact still serving me occasionally but the sad truth is, its only 4.1mp, whereby the current standard is triple dat! not only dat, the camera is becoming obsolete as the years pass by although the time isnt truly up. to be frank, i just need to get something new, the shopper in me is screaming to get out even as i write.

since canon, i dont think i'd ever switch maker since it's an all rounder if you ask me, i've seen pictures my friends and relatives' compact camera (other than canon) produce, some of the other brands are really bad moment catchers, which defeats the purpose of snap shooting if you ask me. some capture nice pix but the night mode sucks, some have very bad stabilizer everything just look like ghost passing by, and etc.

ok, about 7 years ago, my canon is the price of a 12mp camera now, so the budget remains. so right now im scouting around for the best deal in town. a colleague of mine knows somebody who works in a certain camera shop down town, which i heard can give good price. as much as id love to get the best price for a camera, i cudnt bring myself to ask my colleague for that favor yet, prolly not ever.
